A puppy is a young dog (male) or a young bitch (female) less than 18 months old. After this time, he is no longer considered a puppy. The name puppy comes from the Latin catellus ("little dog"). As for the Cubs, in a few months the puppy must obey the codes of behavior of his species, find his place in the surrounding canine hierarchy, and adapt to the human family group that gives him the cottage and the cover. But the dog has an important ability to adapt. And like the wolf, he is a social animal. His social adaptation is so great that the dog is the first and only species that man has collected, raised, and domesticated; and this well before he settles down to cultivate the soil.
